Idaho Today - Grooming and Brushing Tips

Our friends from Idaho Today, KTBV in Boise, ID stopped out to our new corporate store in Meridian, ID to get some dog spring grooming tips. Jasmine, our dog groomer goes over how to properly brush out a golden doodle, labradoodle or any doodle mix. Proper home care is the back bone of an amazing grooming appointment. All of our groomers are available and love to discuss how to properly brush and care for your pooch. Next time you are at any of our dog wash or dog grooming salons, feel free to ask any questions you might have! We are here for you :)

Doodle Grooming Tips

We love doodles and have put together some great at home care tips to keep your Doodle's coat looking great between grooming appointments. With the mild winter, this means more matting and shorter spring haircuts.   As most doodle breeders will tell customers, there is much at home care that needs to take place to keep the coat looking good and not matting up. As always, feel free to reach out if you have questions, and any of our great groomers can show you how to care for your doodle.

Introducing the Doodle Puppy Package

BubblyPawsFeb-33.JPG

It’s no secret that we LOVE doodles, but they also have some of the hardest coats to try to maintain. At Bubbly Paws, our goal is not just to groom dogs, but also help educate owners on how to care for them outside the store. We have put together our Doodle Puppy Package for $36 and includes all the tools you need at home to maintain your dogs coat. Also included in the package is a 5 minute consultation with one of our expert groomers to get custom advice for your pup!

You can schedule this consultation online by clicking here, or call/text our stores. This package can be added to any full service grooming, or as a separate walk in service.

Twin Cities Dancing With the Celebrities

Lori's dog Waffles is a regular at Bubbly Paws Dog Wash! One of the benefits of being a small, locally owned business is that we can help support our friends and customers when they are involved in something cool.  So here goes... Our good friend and professional fitness model, Lori Harder, has been featured on Fox News, ESPN, Oxygen Magazine and others is part of the Twin Cities Dancing With The Celebrities on Saturday, February 22nd.  Lori also brings her dog Waffles to Bubbly Paws to get groomed and to our other business, Pampered Pooch Playground for doggy daycare.  Rumor has it, Lori has some killer dance moves! To learn more about Lori or to buy tickets, click here.  If you go, you will also see Trycia and myself there cheering her on.  Oh, and make sure to check out the silent auction items, there is a pretty sweet package from a really cool dog wash :)

Have a good night!

Working on the 1st

DipticOne of the hardest things about the dog wash is always making sure it looks brand new!  We take great pride in our business and always want to make sure it is as bright, clean and amazing as it was 2 years ago when we first opened!  Sometimes this means doing projects after hours or on holidays when the dog wash is empty!  We have a great handyman, but sometimes I like to do the work myself.  Today Trycia and I put in about 4 hours of work to make sure everything continues to look new.  I really hate when you walk into some places and you can tell that they have been around for a long time.  While we worked, Roxy and Waffles (our friends dog that we are dog sitting) had fun watching.  Roxy did get covered in some paint when she rubbed against one of the freshly painted tubs... OOPS! Waffles also thought all the bones that we have by the checkout were for her ;) Hope everyone had a great new years.
