Doodle Grooming Tips
We love doodles and have put together some great at home care tips to keep your Doodle's coat looking great between grooming appointments. With the mild winter, this means more matting and shorter spring haircuts. As most doodle breeders will tell customers, there is much at home care that needs to take place to keep the coat looking good and not matting up. As always, feel free to reach out if you have questions, and any of our great groomers can show you how to care for your doodle.

Fedex Office Promo
This past December a video production team from Fedex Office stopped out to our Saint Louis Park dog wash to find out more about how we work and how FedEx Office has helped us become one of the premier dog washes in the country! We had so much fun shooting this video. One quick side note, the woman that was working at the FedEx Office store in the video is a not only a FedEx Office team member, but a real life Bubbly Paws customer! How cool is that?? Mallory's Pumpkin Spice Latte Ratings

It's no secret that Bubbly Paws employees LOVE their coffee! This week, we gave Mallory, our dog groomer at our Saint Paul store the tough task of finding the "Best Pumpkin Spice Latte" on Grand Ave. We know there are lots of coffee options on Grand Ave, so we tried the locations within 3 blocks of our store. Here are Mallory's results...
Starbucks - It was ok, a little too spicy and not enough pumpkin flavor.
Caribou - Good pumpkin flavor but a little too sweet.
Chez Arnoud - It was just right... The perfect mix of pumpkin and spice... Just like a pumpkin pie!
Bread and Chocolate - Does not have a Pumpkin Spice Latte ;(
As the Pumpkin Spice Latte season continues, we will update this list as Mallory gets her coffee fixxxxxxxxxx!!
Twin Cities Pride 2014

Pampered Pooch Playground and Bubbly Paws Dog Wash are excited to take part in the 2014 Twin Cities Pride Festival. Make sure to stop over to our booth for lots of pride related fun including some cool decorating of your pooch (details very soon)!
Pampered Pooch Playground is one of the founding members of the Twin Cities Dog Daycare Association who will be sponsoring the Doggy Drag Show which is hosted by Falen from the Dave Ryan Morning Show on 101.3 KDWB.
The entire Twin Cities Dog Daycare Association (Downtown Dogs, Dog Days, Dog Day Getaway, Camp Bow Wow - Burnsville and Pampered Pooch Playground) will be collaborating with Twin Cities Pride for this outrageously fun event!
The Doggy Drag Show takes place in the Pet Central Section, conveniently located across from the Beer Garden. Come join the fun at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 29th. Registration is day of and will open at 10:00 AM. Entries limited to first 20 registrants.
All participants get a ribbon. For Best in Show, Best Male Cross Dresser, Best Female Cross Dresser there will be amazing prize baskets for the winners!
Just go to a thrift store and let your fun and creativity flow! Thrift stores have wigs, neck ties, nighties and more.
The show is in the Pet Central Green Space. Look for the table and the sign.
Saint Paul Dog Wash
We are so excited to finally be open at our Saint Paul location on Grand Avenue. For the longest time, Trycia and myself were looking for a great spot in Saint Paul, and we found it at the end of April! Construction started May 1st and finished last week. We have tried to bring many of the things people love at the Saint Louis Park location and incorporate them into the new dog wash! We have the same waist high tubs, professional equipment, locally made shampoo and our drying room. One thing that we wanted to remain the same was our level of customer service. All of our new staff have been trained at the Saint Louis Park location and are ready to help spoil your pooch! In addition we have Bri, who was doing some grooming with us the past 4 months, who will now be our full time dog groomer in Saint Paul! We are so excited that this store is open and can't wait for everyone to check it out! Yesterday was our first day with the Saint Paul dog wash being open and it was a huge success! We had so many people stop in to check it out and we even did a few baths! Our new space is at 949 Grand Ave, just a few blocks away from Anthropology and LuluLemon (shocking how everyone knows exactly where these stores are, and all those stores are dog friendly). A big thanks to Lill, our general manager of both locations, she has spent lots of time working hard to make sure everything works just right!

Happy 1 Year Anniversary, Jessica!
Wow... I can't believe that Jessica, our AMAZING dog groomer has already been with us for a year. It feels like just yesterday she was impressing us with her test groom. Finding a dog groomer is such a hard task and one that I never look forward to. IT is really hard to find a great groomer, that has a good personality and is willing to deal with customers. It is basically like finding a great hair stylist, but harder!! Jessica is the total package and we absolutely love having her at Bubbly Paws. Thanks again for such a great year!!! Wet dog in the tub
I can honestly say, I LOVE being a business owner and talking with customers. Today Bubbly Paws Dog Wash was buzzing with customers, Cyndi our dog groomer was working hard and everything was running very smooth and everyone was in the mood to chat. Nala the Wheaton came in for a bath and was so behaved while she was getting her bath. Way to go Nala!
